Day of Caring
Every year, volunteers gather from around the community to complete projects for our local non-profits and seniors. This day has been named the "Day of Caring." The day is vital to our local agengies, this is the one day where they may get projects completed that they may not have the man-power, know how, or volunteers to complete. The work that volunteers complete is instrumental in some of our agencies. Projects that have been done range anywhere from yardwork for a senior, building a fence, deep cleaning of a local non-profit, window installation, removing trees and painting. This is your chance to get a group of employees or friends together and join as the community makes a UNITED front to volunteer!
United Way will be in contact with your team as the date draws near to pair you with a project.
