Community Dental Clinic 

United Way, Samaritan Albany General Hospital Foundation, Boys & Girls Club of Albany and several local dentists have worked together to plan and implement a new clinic to help low-income and underinsured individuals in Linn county.  The clinics will be coordinated and run by United Way.  The clinic which opened in April of 2011 is located at the Boys & Girls Club of Albany and serves both children and adults.

The United Way thanks the M.J. Murdock Memorial Charitable trust which awarded a grant of $140,000 to the clinic. The grant helped purchase the equipment, supplies and also personnel costs. United Way also sends special thanks to the commuitiy effort of local organizations and individuals whose passion for caring made the clinic possible.
